Neue Auszubildende bei BICKEL-TEC

At BICKEL-TEC 2, new apprentices for the profession of Body and vehicle mechanics

Another candidate from Morocco hired through the accelerated skilled worker process

Also in the new training year 2023, BICKEL GmbH, Rheinau-Helmlingen, has succeeded in recruiting 2 new apprentices for the profession of body and vehicle mechanic.

This vocational training course covers bodywork repairs, as well as the assembly of vehicles, including optional equipment in the field of passenger cars and commercial vehicles.

A profession that, despite artificial intelligence (AI), still requires a lot of manual labor and creativity in the future. In this context, drive technology is irrelevant and remains a core foundation even in vehicles of the next generation. Therefore, the future career prospects are excellent, and with that, the earning potential as well.

For the second time, the management team has recruited a candidate from Morocco through the accelerated skilled worker program of the German government. El Mehdi EL Amraoui, who is already 27 years old, had already completed an apprenticeship as a mechatronics technician in his home country, which is not recognized as equivalent in Germany. He now wants to further his education in vehicle construction in Germany. Although the skilled worker program through the Migration Agency at the District Office and the German Embassy in Rabat is very complex, his very positive attitude towards acquiring further expertise could already be observed during his few days here. After completing the successful training, he wishes to remain permanently in Germany.

The second trainee, Youness Hamoud, 18 years old from Kehl, comes directly into the vocational training with a high school diploma and also has foreign roots, but is a German citizen.

He too was interested in getting trained in a trade at a specialist company.

This benefits both apprentices, as BICKEL-TEC, as a contract partner of Daimler Truck AG, exclusively builds new commercial vehicles according to customer specifications in all equipment categories. Furthermore, the assembly department designs, welds and assembles complete platforms for transporting lifting work platforms, forklifts and construction machinery. These vehicles are certified by the TüV and are CE-compliant.
