Against strong competition, the company based in Rheinau-Helmlingen has won the 2nd prize in the handcraft sector on September 24, 2022. In a gala held at the European Forum in Neuried, business owner Gerd Körber was honored with this special award.
The jury particularly appreciated the variety of tasks that the company faces in a changing commercial vehicle market and successfully manages. In doing so, high-quality quality control and welding management with certifications according to ISO 9001:2015, DIN EN ISO 3834-2 and EN ISO 1090-1, Exkl.2 were also taken into account.
BICKEL-TEC GmbH has been a contract partner of Daimler Truck AG in the southern German region for many years, carrying out special customer modifications to the chassis and driver's cab that are not possible in series production. In addition, complex modifications to driver's cabs are also carried out on other commercial vehicles, such as complete driver's cab glazing for use in tunnel cleaning and forestry management.
BICKEL-TEC’s portfolio also includes the development, manufacture and assembly of platform structures on new commercial vehicles from all manufacturers for the transport of lifting work platforms, forklifts, etc.
The service range is rounded off by a modern and efficient paint shop with 2 large paint booths.
This diversification, combined with an extremely knowledgeable and motivated workforce of just under 40 employees, ultimately proved to be the deciding factor in securing the top spot.
