The cab glazing allows the customer to use their vehicle both as a commercial vehicle and as a mobile working machine. As a result of this conversion, the customer no longer needs any external equipment, but can operate it directly from the vehicle.
The advantages are, on the one hand, the acquisition costs, as well as the flexibility. These cab variants are used predominantly in the forestry sector as well as in municipal applications.
Examples:
In forestry, this version is predominantly used with wood chipping superstructures, allowing the driver to feed tree trunks directly into the chipper with the loading crane through the rear window glazing.
In the municipal sector, such cab glazing is used for applications including tunnel cleaning. Here too, tunnel walls can be cleaned while driving using a hydraulically extendable brush.
